Hi, I’m Jacobo.
I’m currently working on projects involving mathematics, game development and technology, while pursuing interests that range from fishing and marine life to Japanese language and culture.

Mathematics Tutoring
I provide one-on-one mathematics tutoring for elementary and middle school students.
Every student learns differently. My goal is to help students understand concepts, develop confidence solving problems and become more independent learners over time.
Whether a student needs support with homework, wants to strengthen foundational concepts or is preparing for the next school year, sessions are adapted to their individual needs and pace.

Projects
One of my favorite things about building projects is discovering how many different disciplines come together to make them work.
Educational Video Game
My current project is an educational video game inspired by fishing, marine life and resource management.
Building the game has allowed me to explore mathematics, economics, game design and decision making while thinking about how players learn through experimentation and play.
The project continues to evolve as I develop new mechanics, models and ideas.

Future projects will include work involving mathematics, technology, entrepreneurship and education.
About Jacobo Rico
I’ve been building projects for as long as I can remember.
One of my earliest projects was a YouTube channel called The Animal Creature Adventurer, where I made videos about wildlife, marine life and some of my favorite animals. Looking back, many of the interests I have today started there.
Today, those interests look a little different. Some have become projects, others have become subjects I continue to study, and new ones are constantly being added along the way.
I’m interested in building things, solving problems and continuing to learn. Wherever that happens to lead next.
